Tenets of Faith:
We believe truth brings freedom and healing. Our faith is rooted in Scripture and centered on the regenerative work of Jesus Christ.God’s Word
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living, revealing God’s truth, character, and redemptive plan for humanity.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)
The One True God
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, united in purpose, power, and love.
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14 (ESV)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave His life as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again in glory.
Scripture: John 1:1, 14; Isaiah 53:5–6; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11 (ESV)
Salvation
We believe that humanity was created for fellowship with God but became separated from Him because of sin. Salvation is a gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Through Christ alone, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and made new.
Scripture: Romans 3:23–24; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6 (ESV)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present and active work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer, and dwells within all who place their faith in Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live transformed lives and to walk in obedience to God.
Scripture: John 16:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:11; Galatians 5:22–23 (ESV)
Regeneration and New Life
We believe that through faith in Jesus Christ, individuals experience spiritual regeneration—a complete inward renewal by the Holy Spirit. This new birth leads to transformation, restoration of purpose, and growth into Christlikeness.
Scripture: John 3:3–6; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ezekiel 36:26; Romans 12:2 (ESV)
Healing and Regeneration
We believe that God desires to bring healing and regeneration to the whole person—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally—through His Word, His Spirit, and His love. While spiritual regeneration is immediate through salvation, ongoing healing and transformation occur as believers grow in faith and surrender to God’s work in their lives.
Scripture: Psalm 147:3; Isaiah 61:1–3; James 5:16; Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
Giving and Sowing
We believe that giving and sowing are acts of worship and obedience to God, reflecting a heart of gratitude and faith in His provision. We believe that through faithful giving, believers participate in advancing the work of God’s Kingdom and supporting the ministry of the church, trusting that God honors and multiplies what is given in faith.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7; Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38(ESV)
Fasting
We believe fasting is a sacred invitation to draw closer to God; not a religious obligation, but a spiritual posture of humility, surrender, and expectancy. Biblical fasting is the intentional setting aside of food or other comforts for a designated time in order to seek God with greater focus. Through fasting, we quiet our flesh so we can better hear the voice of the Lord, realign our hearts, and invite His transforming power into our lives. Fasting is often paired with prayer, repentance, intercession, and worship. It is not about earning God’s favor, but positioning ourselves to receive what He desires to release.
Scripture:Matthew 6:16-18; Isaiah 58:6; Matthew 17:21; Joel 2:12
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers, called to worship God, grow in faith, live in community, and share the Gospel. The Church exists to glorify God and reflect Christ’s love and truth in the world.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–13; Hebrews 10:24–25 (ESV)
Baptism and Communion
We believe that baptism and communion are ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward work of regeneration through faith in Christ. Communion is a sacred remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a celebration of our unity in Him.
Scripture: Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26 (ESV)
Christian Living
We believe that followers of Jesus Christ are called to live lives marked by holiness, love, humility, and obedience. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are continually transformed and equipped to serve God and others faithfully.
Scripture: Micah 6:8; Romans 6:4; Colossians 3:12–17; Galatians 2:20 (ESV)
Eternal Hope
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, eternal life for those who place their faith in Jesus Christ, and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him. Our hope rests in Christ alone and the promise of everlasting life.
Scripture: John 11:25–26; Revelation 21:1–5; Matthew 25:46 (ESV)
Foot Washing
We believe that foot washing is a biblical practice demonstrated by Jesus Christ as an act of humility, love, service, and spiritual cleansing. Foot washing reflects the heart of Christ and serves as a reminder that believers are called to serve one another with humility and compassion. We affirm foot washing as a meaningful expression of obedience, unity, and Christlike service within the body of believers.
Scripture: John 13:1–17; Luke 22:27; Galatians 5:13 (ESV)
This Statement of Faith reflects our commitment to biblical truth, spiritual regeneration, and lives transformed through the healing power of Jesus Christ.
